Our Brewery

Copper River Brewing was born of the simple observation that there are more cool people in Cordova than there are dry spaces. CRB is a space for artists, skiers, knitters, fishermen, pilots, welders, biologists, desk jockeys, and the many other talented and eccentric individuals who call Cordova home.

Owner/Founder

Christiana is the logistical tour-de-force behind CRB. Despite her diminutive size and cheery smile, she has been known to strong arm grain suppliers into getting CRB's shipments on the next barge.

Owner/Founder

A writer by trade, Curtis decided to start a brewery after realizing that it's a lot easier to sell beer than to sell books. He is still negotiating a tenuous peace with the ghost in the brewery's basement.

Micah began growing his beard at the age of 12 in hopes of landing a head brewer position. Thirty years later, his plan paid off. He has been featured in GQ's "Lumberjacks & Firefighters" edition for three years running.

Joe Hamm once spent a year in silence to better understand the gentle sizzle of a done steak. He is known to mutter deep wisdoms such as "the stove is my cello."

Just as Simon had Garfunkel, Joe has Shae. Shae is the pragmatist behind CRB's kitchen. She has been known to mutter "Joe is my cello."

Taproom Manager

Audrey is the architect behind CRB's customer experience. As an inside joke, she maintains the rumor that she is a twin. She has been known to close down staff karaoke parties covering songs she has never heard before.

Beertender/Cellerman

Harmony comes to CRB from Kauai by way of Manhattan. The banning of her CRB trivia nights has earned her comparisons to both James Dean and Julian Assange. She is equally at home with caustic acid and chalk markers.
